Monolith Pavilion
A folded plane of light
Oslo, Norway — 2023 — 2,300 m²
(01) The brief
A contemporary art pavilion whose folded white roof captures the low Nordic sun and bounces it deep inside.
The roof is a single folded plane, calculated to catch light at the precise angles of the Oslo winter sun.
Galleries flow into each other without doors, arranged as one continuous walk.
