(01) The brief
Two charred-timber volumes wrap a century-old eucalyptus. By night the house becomes a lantern in the garden.
We designed around the tree rather than the plot: every major room frames a different part of its canopy.
Inside, black-stained oak, hand-trowelled plaster and bronze details give the interiors a quiet, cocooning depth.
